AH35A031 Imperial Japanese Army Experimental Gun Tank Type 5 ( Ho-Ri II )

Imperial Japanese Army Experimental Gun Tank Type 5 ( Ho-Ri II )   AH35A031

The design was based on tank destroyer technology of the time – i.e. a fixed turret with sharply slanting sides, particularly at the front – it never got past the prototype stage. It was to be equipped with a 105 mm cannon, a further forward-firing 37 mm gun and a dual 20 mm anti-aircraft gun at the rear and have a crew of 6.
The fighting compartment is located behind the chassis, the engine is in the centre of the chassis, the driver’s seat is in front of the engine.
It is assumed that the front armour was to be 125 mm and the side to be 25 mm.

This is another impressive kit with plenty of features to make for a very interesting and eye catching display piece.
